Dallas Urban Debate put forward a strong performance at the Urban Debate National Championships this weekend in Washington DC. Both of DUDA's representative schools--Woodrow Wilson and Science and Engineering Magnet--put forward winning records and broke to elimination rounds. Woodrow Wilson advanced to octofinals, and SEM to quarters. In addition, Jack Hill of Woodrow Wilson received a top-20 individual award, and Olivia Northcutt-Wyly and Sophie Rahman of SEM both received top-10 individual speaker awards.
